This week Glorious Metal features Canadian progressive power metal band Scythia and the French Heavy Metal force known as Holy Cross.
Scythia was formed in 2008 and have derived their own sound from many different genres such as celtic/gypsy folk, power metal, death metal, and progressive rock. Their new album 'Lineage' was released on May 4th 2016. Scythia's 4th studio album definitely does not disappoint! A US tour is in the works for November of this year.
Holy Cross was formed in 2006 in Saint Etienne, France. The band has created a tone that truly honor the heavy metal greats like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, and more recently Iced Earth. Their 2013 album 'Place your Bets' is an amazing album that will fire any metalhead up with it's stellar guitar work and screaming vocals. Holy Cross is playing a show in Saint-Etienne, France at Thunderbird Lounge on May 7th, 2016.
